Watersports You Have To Try Before You Die.

(Akiit.com) We all have bucket lists that we want to tick off before we pass on from this world. As you can probably imagine, mine is filled with some incredible adventure sport activities. You might also not be too surprised to learn that I’ve ticked quite a few of them off! Now it’s your turn. If you’ve ever wanted to try some new exciting sports, this is your chance. In particular, I’m going to focus on water sports I know people would love if they gave them a shot. So let’s have a look at a few right now.

Surfing

I’m sure surfing is on many bucket lists. I can tell you that there’s nothing quite like riding across a wave as it starts to tower over you, threatening to topple. Or, riding over it, skimming the foam with your fingers. I know what you’re thinking. Surely that type of surfing requires a lot of skill. It’s true most find surfers find themselves stuck in the shallows. But the more you learn, the better you’ll be. One day, you might be riding on the waves with some of the top athletes. Sure, you’ll have one or two truly brilliant face plants. But you’ll also love every moment of it.

Wakeboarding

One of the biggest challenges with surfing is keeping the balance. That’s why you see most people soaring over the water…without their board. They’ve lost their balance, usually at a high speed. If you want an alternate option that provides something to hang on to, try wakeboarding. You can buy full wakeboard packages online with all the gear you need. Wakeboarding is exactly how it sounds. You ride on a board in the wake of the boat for one amazing ride. They make it look easy in pictures but it does require a little skill and a lot of practice. However, again, once you get the hang of it you’ll get the coolest thrill imaginable as you rocket across the water. One thing is for certain, it’s faster than surfing.

Water Bungee Jumping

I’m counting this one because technically you will be above water when you make the jump. In fact, some places will let you touch the water below during the fall. Although that will only last for a second. It’s the fall itself that should make this possibility the top contender on your list. If you’ve ever stood at the top of a tall building and wished you could fly, bungee jumping is for you. You’ll love the sensation of freefalling hundreds of feet below. The drop lasts less than a minute, but that doesn’t take anything away from the experience. The only thing you need to be aware of is that bungee jumping is dangerous. But that is certainly part of what provides the excitement.

Snorkeling

Or, if you want a sport that’s a little less exciting but just as breathtaking try snorkeling. Head to the coral reef and dive below the water as you  uncover the colourful world below. Dive a little below the water line and you will soon encounter amazing sea creatures all around you.

Have in inspired you to make a few checks on your list with these watersports? Think about them next time you book another adventure vacation.
